HELLO 2018

I enjoy the new year. I love the fact that I'll be leaving a whole year behind me, no matter if it was good, bad, or average. I like that kind of closure. I love this feeling of starting over again and having a fresh year ahead of me, filled with new chances and new experiences.

2017, has been a tough one and has left me feeling bitter sweet. There are moments I've felt incredibly vulnerable, hurt and lost. There has been a swell in anger, resentment and having no choice but to learn to let it all go. I've had moments where I've wanted to give up, pack my bags and just go back home. But this year also saw me moving out, getting a good career orientated job, food freedom and travel. The intentions I set at the beginning of the year have all manifested, not always the way I would have liked but easy isn't the way of the universe. On your life path there are many diversions, moments where you feel like you're going back on yourself and when you reach your desired destination you realise it is only a short pit shop because life is every flowing and time never stops. This year I have learned that life can be amazing, then awful, then amazing again. In between the amazing and the awful is the mundane, ordinary routine of life, this is where you have to hold on through the awful and breathe in the amazing and relax and exhale in the ordinary because just living itself is pretty amazing and life can be pretty beautiful, it is what we make of it. As 2017 comes to a close not only am I reflecting on the past 12 months but I am also thinking about the things I want to achieve and manifest for myself next year...

More book Less TV/Netflix More nature Less worry More patience (with myself and others) Less judgement (of myself and others) More adventures Less procrastination More freedom Less rules More love Less negativity As you reflect in this past year and think about the one to comes ask yourself these questions: What are your biggest lessons you can take away from 2017? What are the biggest achievements from you can celebrate? What moments stick out the most? What would you like more of in your life? What would you like less of? Who would you like to be? What kind of life would you like to create? What kind of people would you like to attract into your life? And remember, life is full of simple pleasure, you don't have to do big things to make life meaningful.
